Congratulations to Bill Sjoberg for his award from Dr. Stephen Volz of NOAA for his work in producing satellite flood products that are now available internationally through GEONETCAST-America and GEOGloWS. These products provided critical operational capabilities to Alaska forecasters during Spring Break-up (when frozen rivers melt and break up in warmer weather).
