On the 15th of September, GST was re-awarded a contract it has held for a decade, the NOAA/NESDIS Ocean Science Technology Applications Task (OSTA 2.0). GST will continue to work on the themes and topics of satellite oceanography for multiple science teams including sea surface temperature, sea surface altimetry, water surface conditions, ocean color radiometry, sea ice and polar dynamics, and ocean surface vector winds. GST’s work focuses on coastal zones and inland waters, and the development of merged, blended, integrated, and other derived satellite products and analyses with applications to the blue economy.
