Mr. Moren serves Global Science & Technology (GST) as the Vice President of Technical Programs. He supports the overall operations and administration of GST’s contracts and task orders. He supports all marketing and business development activities for NASA, NOAA, USGS, DOD and other earth and environmental government agencies. Mr. Moren previously served as a VP for Dell Services Federal Government (DSFG) (formerly Perot Systems Government Services & QSS Group, Inc.) where he provided management and leadership for the Earth and Environmental Science/NOAA Programs within the Space and Earth Technology Services (SETS) Sector.
Mr. Moren has experience in meteorological Research and Development (R&D), scientific and technical project management, as well as, Business Management activities supporting scheduling, staffing, fiscal and budget. He has strong U.S. interdisciplinary, interdepartmental and interagency experience, and is familiar with national atmospheric science research efforts including private and public sector initiatives.
He also worked as a broadcast meteorologist and held an American Meteorological Society (AMS) Broadcast Seal of Approval. He worked as a morning, weekend, and prime-time on-air meteorologist for NBC Affiliate KSBW-8 in Salinas/Monterey, CA.
Mr. Moren received his Master of Science in Air-Ocean Science from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA and Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT.
